Ian Mac Eochagáin is an Irish-born translator, editor and author who tells Finns what the English they produce really sounds like to native ears. His first book, 101 finglishmiä – eroon tankeroista, contains 101 examples of phrases that Finns think are natural English but actually are not, such as “take the new system into use”.
