I’m passionate about people and languages — and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve happily joined NTIF as an active participant and contributor. My localization career began in the last millennium, so yes, I’m a seasoned professional who’s seen the industry evolve from early-days Trados Workbench, to SMT to NMT, and now genAI.

Over the past three decades, I’ve had the privilege of working with leading international corporations headquartered in Denmark — including Vestas, Ørsted, and Milestone Systems — in roles spanning translator, proofreader, interpreter, Head of Translation, Language Advisor, Lead Language Consultant, and now Head of Localization.

In the past five years, I’ve been nurturing and developing an exceptional team while exploring how genAI can bring real value to our craft. Our latest focus areas include process improvement, onboarding new colleagues and stakeholders after two mergers, and advancing internationalization, globalization, and language strategy as growth levers.
