Automate It All? DHL’s GenAI Translation Pilot, Our Leap of Faith—and Why We’re Still Smiling
Explore DHL’s journey from traditional machine translation to a smart, GenAI-powered translation ecosystem. This session presents a comparative evaluation of GenAI, memoQ’s AGT, and human translation workflows using a standardized LQA framework. We’ll share insights from blind testing, error scoring, and style guide optimization—highlighting how (Gen)AI can complement human expertise in multilingual content delivery. Learn how we integrated memoQ, translation memory and glossary data, as well as AI proofreaders into a unified workflow with the help of APIs, supported by real-world testing across six languages—only to discover that humans still have the upper hand (for now). Join us for a candid look at what worked, what didn’t, and how we’re gearing up to scale this solution, deepen TM integration, and bring this hybrid system into production—with a smile and a few lessons learned.
