How does it work when 15 LSPs, potential competitors, work together to drive an open source solution for the language industry (translate5)? How did this even become possible? Why has World Translation been involved in this area for years? What has been the experience in terms of ROI, implementation time, support and maintenance, etc.? And can this be an inspiration for similar projects?

Marc has been leading translate5 as a community-supported open source translation environment since 2011 and has been running his company MittagQI since 2009. From 2000 to 2009 was at Transline in IT, 2005 to 2009 head of translation technology. Otherwise: husband, father of 3 children + 1 hairy. Yogi.
