Commercial Collaborations Rule, OK!
We’re used to thinking about industry associations as peer networks, but what if your association could actually open up serious new business opportunities? In the UK, the ATC has been working with business organisations and client-side trade associations to build commercial collaborations that do just that. The ATC’s CEO Raisa McNab spills the beans on how to build value through commercial collaborations, what works – and what really doesn’t.
CEO, Association of Translation Companies
Raisa steers the UK’s Association of Translation Companies (ATC), representing the voice of 220 language service companies providing translation, interpreting and other language services to clients across the UK and the world.
As the ATC’s CEO, Raisa’s focus is on supporting a community of language service companies, collaborating with external stakeholders on best practice, policy and sustainable development of the language services industry. She is also the association’s Lead on Standards, overseeing the operations and development of ATC Certification. Raisa is an experienced language services production, training and quality manager. She holds an MA in Translation & Interpreting from her native Finland.
