TAIM for Subtitling

Jakob Erlandsson works at Svensk Medietext – one of the leading LSP’s in the Nordics. He has a background in journalism and TV production but ventured into localisation and accessibility via AI Media – a UK based accessibility company.

At an early stage he took an interest in speech technology and how it can be utilized in accessibility services. And today he works with implementing speech technologies in Svensk Medietext’s workflows.

Jakob is currently managing Svensk Medietext’s latest project TAIM which is an easy-to-use platform for AI driven same language subtitling. In his session he will demonstrate how well established subtitling workflows can be combined with the latest in speech technology.
